SANJOSE will build the Fontán Building of the City of Culture of Galicia in Santiago de Compostela

The Cidade da Cultura de Galicia Foundation has awarded the UTE formed by SANJOSE Constructora and Acciona the execution works of the Fontán Building of the City of Culture of Galicia, which will host cross-cutting services for the three Galician universities and the European Research Centre of Galicia. Paisajes, which will function as a permanent observatory of the Camino de Santiago.

Also note that it will have a covered auditorium with 750 seats and that on the roof there will be a covered garden with open facades that can also be used as a museum space.

The building, with a reinforced concrete structure, will stand out for its curved metal roofs, its glass facades and its complex interior installations.

The project also contemplates the exterior urbanization.
