SANJOSE will build the Hospital of San José of Melipilla in Chile

The Ministry of Health – Western Metropolitan Health Service has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the construction works of the José of Melipilla Hospital in Chile.

The new hospital complex will have a built surface amounting to 60,834 m², 239 beds, 7 surgery pavilions and 350 parking spaces. This new health infrastructure consists of 9 modules, 4 of them will be devoted to hospital uses: A (outpatient consultation building), B (inpatient stay), C (ER & logistics support) and D (mental health). Highlighting modules A and B both, for their size and height (3 and 5 top level floors, respectively), and for incorporating a seismic insulator system, that reduces from 6 to 8 times the vibration in the event of an earthquake, absorbing the energy produced and avoiding significant damage.

This new health infrastructure is key for the health of the area, since it will have a size six times greater than the current one, being able to serve more than 250,000 users.
