SANJOSE will build the 15 MW solar plant at Tenerife South Airport

Aena has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the engineering, supply, construction, commissioning and maintenance works for the 15 MW (17.49 MWP) photovoltaic solar plant at the Tenerife South Airport for its energy self-supply. The total number of photovoltaic modules will be 34,996, with a peak power of 500 Wp each one of them.

The object of the project is the definition of the necessary facilities for the construction and connection of this project, as well as its connection to the 220 kV farm owned by Red Eléctrica Española (REE) in the Granadilla 2 Substation. The Plant is divided into 3 subfields with a total of 3 centers of 5,000 kVA power Transformation. It will connect 6 central inverters of 2,500 kVA power.
