SANJOSE will Execute Phase I of the New UAX Campus in Oviedo, Asturias

Centro Universitario Alfonso X El Sabio Asturias has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the Phase I works (demolition, renovation, and adaptation) of several areas within the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Oviedo, encompassing 12,000 square meters (129,170 sqf) of built surface within its central gallery, for the development of a new university campus focused on excellence in health and technology.

Located within the landmark building designed by Santiago Calatrava, the new campus is conceived to foster local talent and strengthen its international projection, enhance Asturias’ biohealth and research ecosystem, revitalize the urban environment of the Buenavista district, and deliver rigorous, innovative academic programs aligned with the needs of the future.
