Grupo Sanjose becomes partners with Engloba Grup for tender of a windfarm project in Catalunya

Grupo Sanjose, specialized in construction and service projects, and the leridian Group Engloba Grup submit jointly the tender for a 123 MW wind farm of the Conselleria d’Economia de Catalunya through the company Tecnologies Renovables de Catalunya distributed in several wind farms located in Terra Alta, Alt Penedès and Alt Camp.

 The proposal of “Tecnologies Renovables de Catalunya” involves investments over 290 millions of Euros during the operating life of the wind farms and the creation of more than 2,000 work positions, 300 of them permanent.   

The plan leathered by Grupo Sanjose sets ambitious complementary investments on bio energy. It also includes the construction of 8 agri-foodstruffs waste treatment plants capable of creating energy from biogas resulting from pollution load reduction process. 

It also includes a R&D&I project, in collaboration with the Technological Centre GIRO of Mollet del Vallès, expert in organic waste, which will try to develop new energy applications for waste treatment. 

The plan is completed with the creation of a fund for promoting the construction of local infrastructure projects at areas affected by the installation of aero generators and offering direct compensations to the areas, neighbouring areas and owners of plots of land where wind farms are placed. It also suggests the creation of a fund of more than 16 million of Euros for educational purposes. 

Other initiative is creating different forms of addressing investments of local companies or local partners by focusing on different investments of private and public companies and issuing bonds with a value higher than that on the market.

The project designed by Grupo Sanjose and Engloba Grup includes the participation of the aero generator manufacturer Vestas; world leader of the wind power sector which offers the machine V112, of great technological advance, which implies a total investment of 4.5 million of Euros in R&D&I activities for the wind sector in Catalunya.
