Inauguration of the Hospital of La Florida in Santiago de Chile

The President of Chile, accompanied by the Minister of Health and the Minister of Public Works, has inaugurated the Hospital of La Florida. This hospital has been executed by Grupo SANJOSE who shall run the same under concession regime for a period of 15 years, including all services, with the exception of medical services.

At a ceremony attended by all community members, the President of Chile has emphasized that this hospital will provide health care services to more than a million people, counting on 391 beds, 17 pavilions and 108 emergency rooms.

It is a state-of-the-art-technology hospital and according to the President “it has been possible thanks to the best experts who have managed to build an infrastructure of this level in such a record time”. Further, he compared its quality with some of the best private hospitals of the country.

Finally, he announced the inauguration of the Hospital of Maipu the next 7^th December.  Executed by GSJ who will be responsible for its operation for the following 15 years.
