Puerta Europa Algeciras will soon open a new 2,300 m² gym

■ With the execution of this new agreement, the Shopping Centre, property of SANJOSE, holds an occupation rate of 83% and is currently undergoing negotiations which shall involve 100% occupation rate by year-end.
■ Said negotiations focus on increasing the offer of catering and cafe services in order to satisfy demands of an increasing number of visitors, 23% increase up to now.
■ Currently, 494 people from the area work at the shopping centre.
The Shopping Centre Puerta Europa Algeciras will add to products and services offered a modern 2,300 m² gym located at the second floor.
This agreement has been framed within the Business Plan promoted by the Management Team, which intends to satisfy leisure and entertainment and food needs of visitors and is, therefore, focusing its efforts on the development of catering, café, bowling, etc services and products.
Occupation rate of Puerta Europa Algeciras reaches 83% of total gross rentable surface area. Negotiations with potential new customers seem to guarantee that by the end of year 2012, occupation rate will reach 100% of the only shopping centre at the Campo de Gibraltar Region of its features and size:
- 102,000m² of built surface.
- 29,450m² of gross rentable surface devoted to leisure and entertainment and commercial purposes (81 premises).
- 2,000 car park spaces.
► Number of visitors. The number of clients who visit Puerta Europa, shopping reference within the region, keeps increasing steadily, recording a 23% increase during the first quarter of the year 2012 with respect to the same period in year 2011.
► Employment. Puerta Europa Algeciras employs a total of 494 locals, figure which shall increase considerably upon the opening of the new modern gym.
► Commercial offer. Top-level national and international brands, such as Primark, Mercadona, H&M, Bershka, Lefties, Oysho, Pull&Bear, Stradivarius, C&A, Sport Zone, Zippy, Cortefiel, Springfield, Women Secret, Blanco, Poly, Décimas, Mary Paz, Inside, etc.
