SANJOSE is awarded an EPC contract for EUR 19 million for the biggest Solar PV farm in Spain to be executed this year

The 9 MW farm of 37,4000 panels located in the Chartered Community of Navarre will supply powers to more than 14,000 people and will avoid the emission of 5,000 T. of CO2 per year, equivalent to driving 400,000 km by car

 

 

The Investor Group OPDE has awarded SANJOSE Constructora an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract for EUR 19 million for the execution of a 9 MW solar farm in the Chartered Community of Navarre near Tudela.

 

The farm, which will start to supply energy at the end of the following year, will be the biggest farm to be executed in Spain within 2011.

 

The EPC contract includes the engineering, supply, construction and implementation of a solar farm to be executed with fixed structure and will consists of a total of 37,400 230 Wp polycrystalline silicon panels and 14.3% of efficiency, 16 500 kW three-phase PV Inverter and 8 transformation centers of 1,250 kVA.

 

Since the connection with the distribution company will be by MV, SANJOSE is also responsible for the construction of the evacuation line and the transforming substation associated to the 10 MWA PV power station in a transforming ratio 20/66 kV.

 

The solar farm will produce 12,000 MWh per year and will supply renewable energy to 14,000 inhabitants, saving 5,000 T. of CO2 per year, equivalent to driving 400,000 km. by car.
