SANJOSE will build the TSL Getafe Student Residence, Madrid

Alba Spanish Propco 2 (Temprano Capital Partners) has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the construction works of a student residence that will provide premium accommodation to more than 400 students in Getafe, Madrid.

This new residence, with approximately 15,000 square meters of built surface distributed in 7 floors above ground and 2 basement floors intended mainly for parking, will have, in addition to the 331 rooms that will house more than 400 beds, with important common areas among which it includes a library, study rooms, group work areas, audiovisual room / gymnasium cinema, lounge club, social recreation rooms, etc.

The project pursues an avant-garde and rich image, resorting to the use of contemporary materials such as folded metal sheet and the SATE Exterior Thermal Insulation System, with textured finishes.

Organised as two volumes, the first that makes up the main box and the second with the idea of a plinth, its organises a set with a very resounding formal expression. The garden with large trees will complete the set.

In the design of the building, criteria followed seek the maximum quality of the user, going beyond the minimum requirements in terms of construction, safety, etc. In addition, the building seeks to become a benchmark for sustainability by implementing the BREEAM criteria.
