SANJOSE will expand the Military Academy Leoncio Prado in Peru for 13.5 million Euros

The Ministry of Education of Peru has awarded SAN JOSE the elaboration and execution of the new educational institution “Military Academy Leoncio Prado” (La Perla – Callao) of a total built surface of 25,500m² and a total investment of 13.5 million Euros. This educational institution opened in 1943 and was acknowledged “Emblematic Academy of Peru” in 2009.
This Project consists of the urbanization of 100,000m², the restoration of the two existing buildings and the construction of the educational complex, including student residence, lecturer rooms of several characteristics, auditorium, sports facilities, etc.
SANJOSE is present in Peru since 2004 and has executed several projects for both the public administration and private companies. Among the most remarkable projects, special attention must be paid to the project of Inversiones Granadero for the execution of the Administrative Building Tempo in San Isidro - Lima for EUR 2.56 million. The total built surface amounts to 7.500m² and is distributed into an eight-storey building and a four-level underground car park.
From all the projects accomplished in Peru, the projects as builder-developer of two major urban developments, which provide an effective response to housing needs of a large number of families, worth special mention:
At present, 38% of the portfolio of Grupo SANJOSE provides from foreign contracting. Recent projects awarded in Portugal (Rehabilitation Centre of the North in Porto, Hotel Project in Lisbon and the finishing and water and gas supply facilities of the Shopping Centre Aqua Portimão in El Algarve) Czech Republic ( photovoltaic power station of 5 MW ), Cape Verde (Resort Dunas Beach Resort) and Peru (Military Academy Leoncio Prado in Perla – Callao and the administrative building Tempo) amount to 150 million Euros and consolidate the global character of the company who is currently studying the feasibility of several projects in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
