Sanjose will build the first stretch of the l’AVE in Cantabria for more than 50 millions euros

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has awarded to San José Constructora, the execution of construction of the railway stretch Palencia-Amusco, who belongs to the future High Speed Line of Cantabria. This new rail infrastructure that will build San José was awarded for a budget of 50, 94 millions euros.
This frame is 18.7 km long. that cover the entire province of Palencia, and follow exactly the municipalities of Palencia, Husillos, Monzón de Campos Ribas de Campos and Amusco.
As individual elements of the project, we can highlight the construction of 26 structures from which emerge two viaducts deck typology with box-section in situ post-tensioned with a length of 133 meters each one and two pergolas upon the Palencia canal of 45 meters each one.
Other notable actions of this construction contract are the reform of the Monzon de Campos station and Amusco Stop to adapt them to the new platform and the intervention works on the current platform of the railway service Venta de Baños - Santander.
